When I think about Alta Mons and all the lives it has touched, I think about how it has touched my life. I learned leadership skills from being on the board and then becoming the president of the board.
Both of my children attended Camp Alta Mons. Our daughter worked one summer as a volunteer counselor. Both our daughter and son loved going to camp. Our daughter’s two children attended camp and loved it. Our son’s two children, who live in New Jersey have attended camp for the last two summers and are already signed up for this year. Our two grandchildren in New Jersey describe their summer camp experience as the best time of their lives. One said to me, “everyone should go to Camp Alta Mons.”
This is coming from a grandmother who has known about and worked with Alta Mons since it began. I have great grandchildren that I hope I can send there.
