RV and tent camping
Alta Mons has 37 total RV sites with water and electricity. We have 13 sites along the South Fork of the Roanoke River (The Riverside) and 24 sites along Purgatory Creek (The Wetlands). Each RV site comes with one 30 amp outlet and two 20 amp outlets. The dump station is located on the Riverside. We also have 7 designated sites for tent camping on the Wetlands side. You can tent camp on an RV site, but you must pay the RV price ($40/night).
RV Season is from April 15 to October 31 and sites are $45.00/site/night.
Tent Season is from April 15 to October 31 and sites are $35.00/site/night.
Reservations are suggested, but not required. You are on your honor to pay your balance by either calling the office at 540-268-2409 OR leaving money in the payment box by the office door.
RV/Tent check in time is 1 PM and check out time is 1 PM. Please be considerate of this and to others who may have booked the site the night before or after your stay with us.
