Summer 2013: Can you hear me?
Ben came into my office asking if I was going to publish the 2013 Summer Theme today. I looked at him and said, "It's not January 10th yet!" But of course it is, and I'm a woman of my word.
Time is flying by, and I'm meeting with our wonderful partner Alex Veatch tomorrow who is designing all of our promotional material. We've got several other designs and ideas for t-shirts, stickers, and our 2013 Brochure, so be on the look out for that!
2013 is going to be about unplugging, getting away from the computer, the cell phone (not that you have service out here anyway), the video games. We want to youth to hear a different kind of call.
This year God is sending us all a text. It simply says, "Can you hear me?" and we will stop and listen. This year, we're going to connect to nature, connect to our community, and connect to Christ in a whole new way. So grab your sleeping bag, pack some clean socks, and fill out that application!
You're not going to want to miss Alta Mons 2013!!!
