Mons Alta Mons is a ministry of the Roanoke District of the United Methodist Church located in scenic southwest Virginia. We are situated on 840 acres of rural mountain and valley encompasing the historic healing springs site formerly known as Crockett Springs Resort. Alta Mons is a modern camp and retreat center offering a wide variety of programs and year round facility options accomodating 200+ in the summer and 85+ in the winter. We can provide simply the space for your retreat or a multitude of full services including day events, team building, food service, and weeklong camps. We specialize in blending outdoor experiential learning with Christian mesages. Our prayer is that during your visit you will have an opportunity to experience the splendor of our God.
